SITUATION
A delivery truck carrying aggregates material ordered through Constromat hit an 11KVA power line in a remote village (Bhiti Bazar, Chapra, Bihar) causing a blackout. Villagers blocked the road, and fearing more low-hanging lines, the driver refused to proceed.
SOLUTION
Constromat staff based in Ranchi promptly deployed a local electrician to restore the power. To resolve the delivery problem, they negotiated with the customer to divert the materials to an alternate, accessible project site Piprahiya, Chapra, Bihar).
OUTCOME
The customer agreed to the reroute. This agile problem-solving ensured successful delivery and saved both parties from incurring massive return freight costs.
